·         Provided technical guidance to interior design team on the use of AutoCAD including the maintenance of CAD standards

·         Provided consulting advice to real estate investments division on a structural collapse of a multistory office building in Boston, Massachusetts that included providing input to the forensic engineering team

 

Tenant Improvement, 400,000 SF printing facility/warehouse/office/cafeteria, Grove City, OH

·         Provided design direction to landlord’s architects and engineers and administered construction contracts of landlord’s construction division

·         Coordinated tenants’ needs with consultants and contractors

·         Completed in 1998

 

Tenant Improvement, 315,000 SF 5 story office building, Dublin, OH

·         Prepared tenant improvement construction documents and bid documents for low voltage systems

·         Coordinated tenant requirements with owner’s design teams by creating floor layouts, finishes and electrical construction documents

·         Coordinated with new occupants and supervised physical move into facility

·         Provided technical support of computer and phone connectivity for 1,800 people during relocation

·         Completed in 1996

 

 

Renovation, 140,000 SF, 2 and 3 story office buildings with new lobby addition and cafeteria, Portland OR

·         Provided direction to the architect/engineer after conceptual design

·         Created low voltage construction documents and bid documents

·         Coordinated with occupants to ensure business functions maintained

·         Hired consultants and contractors for the abatement of environmental materials including asbestos

·         Selected general, low voltage, and kitchen equipment contractors through competitive bidding and administered contracts

Tenant Improvement, 80,000 SF, 9 story office building, Hilliard, OH

·         Acted as tenant in landlord relationship, acted as owner with multiple-prime contracts

·         Coordinated the creation of architectural construction documents in-house, the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection through a consultant, and created the low voltage construction documents

·         Competitively bid the general trades, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, fire suppression, and low voltage contracts and administered the contracts

·         Led weekly project coordination meetings with contactors and landlord

·         Completed 1992

 

Renovation, 130,000 SF factory to warehouse, Obetz, OH

·         Acted as general contractor – project manager, project engineer and owner’s representative with architect and engineer

·         Coordinated tenant’s needs with consultants

·         Hired all trades including general labor through competitive bidding, created the project schedule, reviewed and coordinate submittals and submitted requests for information

·         Supervised part time foreman hired to monitor day to day activities of the work site

·         Completed in 1992

 

New Construction, 120,000 SF, 2 story office building, Visalia, CA

·         Conducted peer review of the construction documents

·         Assisted in coordinating the bid documents, analyzing the bids, and making recommendations

·         Generated bid documents for low voltage and music/paging systems, coordinated the bids, and administered the contracts

·         Completed in 1991

 

Renovation, 80,000 SF factory to temporary Class C office space, Visalia, CA   

·         Acted in design/build capacity and as a general contractor reviewing all time and material tickets and supervised the creation of construction documents

·         Negotiated with city Chief Building Official on temporary occupancy issues including fire suppression system, fire alarm system, and general egress issues

·         Completed in 3 months, 1990

 

New Construction, 650,000 SF, 27 story high rise office building, Columbus, OH

·         Review of consultant's construction documents, inspect and conduct contractor punch lists

·         Track RFI’s and shop drawings, maintain construction document library for department

·         Directly responsible for Special Inspections including scope, budget, and reporting

·         Completed in 1990.
